Prayerforced Interventions Initiative (PII) is a mandate, God by His Spirit handed to His son Terwase Orbunde on the 17th of January, 2017. It was on the 9th day of the Annual 21-day Prayer and Fasting programme of the Living Faith Church Worldwide, in Makurdi, Benue State, Nigeria.
The Spirit said, "The Prayers which you are making for your country Nigeria, is like pouring water in a basket because her foundation is faulty. Do something about it" (Ps 11:3) After about 9 months of intense prayer, meditation, study and consultations, I began to share the mandate with brethren who are my friends and acquaintances. The idea gained wide acceptance around Nigeria and overseas. As a result, the Initiative was registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Abuja as an NGO on 5th March, 2018. The Initiative has 7 (Seven) brethren who are Trustees from the six Geopolitical Zones of Nigeria.
A study of the spiritual forces that informed the foundation of Nigeria leading to Independence on 1st October, 1960 confirms the absence of the church (The Ecclesia) at the foundation.
Our assignment, and indeed every believer's assignment, is to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant a new foundation for Nigeria (Jeremiah 1:8-10, Matt. 15:13). This has informed our mobilization of believers for prayers as a foundation for new Nigeria.
Moreover, since the promise to Abraham is to be fulfilled through Isaac (Gal. 3:13-14), we are strengthened to reach out first to the Body of Christ, so she can position herself as an Isaac, and in Jesus Christ in order to take hold of God's promises for His children in Nigeria. This is unique to the fulfillment of the prophetic destiny of Nigeria.
By the special grace of God, the mandate is receiving a wide acceptability in Nigeria and beyond. Both National Leadership and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) and that of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and several key leaders in the Body of Christ have bought into the mandate. We have received great encouragement to carry on with this work. To God be the Glory!
No matter how pressed or frustrated you are about Nigeria, we advise that you stop agreeing with Satan by making negative statements. We advise you to pray for Nigeria.
